Dump Nearby is operated by Luna Directories, an independent publisher based in Virginia, USA ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to the terms below. They are short because the site does one thing: it lists public information about facilities.

Information only

Dump Nearby provides information about facilities for general reference. Hours, fees, accepted materials and even whether a gate is open can change without notice, and public registries lag those changes. Nothing on the site is a guarantee that a facility will accept a given load on a given day. Confirm with the facility before you drive, especially for tires, appliances, mattresses, asbestos or hazardous waste.

Accuracy and corrections

We compile records from public sources and cite them on each page. We check records against those sources but we do not inspect facilities in person. If you find an error, use the correction form; we will verify it and update the page. We do not accept payment to add, remove or alter a listing.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luna Directories and Dump Nearby are not liable for any loss, cost or damage (including a wasted trip, a rejected load or a fee that differs from what is shown) arising from use of, or reliance on, the information here.

Linking and reuse

• You may link to any page, and we encourage it.
• You may quote individual facts with attribution and a link to the page.
• Bulk copying, scraping or republishing the listing dataset, in whole or in substantial part, is not permitted without written permission. The underlying government records are public; our compilation, normalization and checks are our work.

Third-party content

Pages link to facility websites, map providers, agency records and advertisers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Advertisements are clearly separated from directory content and never influence which facilities are listed or how they are described.

Submissions

By submitting a correction or claim you confirm you have the right to share that information and you grant us permission to publish it, edited for accuracy and format, on the relevant listing. Do not submit personal information about other people.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by correspondence will be brought in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site adds features (for example owner-claimed listings). The current text is always at this address with its effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
