  • Who can use it. Due to safety concerns, residents are not permitted to use SWACO Transfer Stations. Only haulers with a credit agreement with the Authority may dispose of waste at the transfer stations.
  • Not accepted. It does not take special waste (landfill only) and construction and demolition debris (C&DD) - landfill only since September 29, 2025.
  • How fees work. Fees are charged by weight (per ton), with a minimum charge of $5. The posted rates are listed under Fees.
